Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom clocks about 2,400 riders per hour thanks to the Omnimover — high capacity that keeps queues moving. What other attractions consistently clear 2,000 RPH in real operations, and if you know, what year and source did that figure come from?
Pirates of the Caribbean at MK comfortably breaks 2,000 when the belt stays continuous and grouping’s tight — I timed about 30-second dispatches in June 2023 and got roughly 2,300–2,400 RPH by counting boats for 10 minutes; just time dispatches and multiply by about 20 per boat. Source-wise, @TouringPlans has published similar ballpark numbers to your “2,400 riders/hour,” but I haven’t seen a post-2022 ops audit and would love a newer on-the-ground count.
Small World at MK clears 2,000 when both load sides are staffed; TouringPlans (2019) pegs it about 2,300 and my 6/18/23 spot-timing was about 2,100: https://touringplans.com/blog/attraction-capacity/. @j_larson45, that tracks with your continuous-belt note — caveat is accessible load pauses can drag it down. Same continuous-load vibe as your Haunted Mansion example, which is why the queue usually keeps moving.
