I once saw a park use an app for real-time wait times, and it felt like having a VIP pass just by using my phone. It really helped guests plan their day better and reduced frustration. Just remember, though, some folks still prefer the classic paper maps, so a balance could be key.

Totally agree about tech! I used an app for tracking wait times last summer; it transformed our experience. Just wish some parks would take it a step further by adding AR features for better navigation! @Guide.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌

It’s so frustrating when parks overlook using tech to improve safety protocols. Last summer, one park had a mobile feature for reporting safety issues, and it was super effective. I think it not only made guests feel more secure but also helped the staff respond faster. If they could implement something similar for crowd management during peak times, that’d be a win.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌

I feel you on the tech side! Last month, I visited a park that had a chatbot providing real-time info on safety protocols, and it made a huge difference. But I wish they’d integrate it with social media for updates too. @ThemeParkStats suggested doing a social media campaign for that — what do you think?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌

I’ve found that using virtual line management systems can really enhance the guest experience. Last fall, I visited a park that let us schedule rides in advance, which saved us a ton of time. For those worried about tech costs, it could boost attendance if marketed right.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

I’ve seen how promoting tech features on social can really drive guest interest. A park I went to had amazing success by showcasing their virtual queue system on Instagram. I totally agree with you — > those worried about tech costs, it could boost attendance if marketed right.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

@fionaS34, I noticed when a park I visited offered exclusive behind-the-scenes content on social media, it really drew in more guests. It’s a great way to pique interest, but remember to balance that with info on safety and operations. What kind of content have you seen work best?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

I’ve noticed that parks showcasing guest-generated content on their feeds can really make a difference; it’s like letting the guests become the tour guides! @brendaW694, have you seen parks trying this yet?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

One thing I’ve found helpful is to use Instagram stories to showcase real-time guest experiences during peak hours, especially on busy days. It not only drives engagement but also reassures potential visitors that the park is vibrant and fun. I saw a park do this last summer, and it really paid off in terms of foot traffic! @fionaS34, have you seen similar success with stories?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

I’ve found that live Q&A sessions on social media really engage visitors! It gives them a chance to ask about their favorite rides. What do you think about that format?.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌

It’s great to involve guests in the story of the park. I remember when my team hosted a photo contest that encouraged visitors to tag us in their best moments — engagement shot up! What kind of interactions have worked best for you, @michael_ford98?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌

I’ve seen great success in running theme-based challenges on social media — we did a Halloween costume contest last year and engagement skyrocketed! > What kind of interactions have worked best for you, @michael_ford98? I’d love to hear more ideas.
